Subject: Cannot seem to move the Lotus Notes Data directory on mac os X 8.5.2 Basic
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Documentation
Platform: Mac OS X
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

The Data Directory for max OS X is by default on

home/Library/Application Support/Lotus Notes Data

I am trying to move this to another location (a much faster SSD) but seem to be unable to do it.

Changing the valus in the Preferences/User Preferences menu, shutting down Notes, and restarting, leaves me with the original value.

I also tried directly editing the Notes Preferences files using TextWrangler, but the values were re-written.

Am I missing something or is there nothing I can do?

Best Regards,
Andrew Magerman
